Library

The library is a basic resource to the entire curriculum. Its collection contributes to personal enrichment, and attempts to answer individual needs and interests. Children find it a place of enrichment, recreation, and information. Our librarian assists in the use of the facility and the library is a valuable resource for students and parents seeking good literature or to research a topic for an assignment.

The library is part of a state wide interlibrary loan system funded by the New Jersey State Library. There are over 500 libraries participating in the system with over four million library holdings in the catalog.

Book Donations
If your child would like all of Westfield to share in the celebration of a birthday, why not donate a book to the Westfield Friends School Library?
There is always a wish list available in the library. Choose a book on a topic your child enjoys or one that is special to him or her. To mark the occasion, these "birthday books" will contain a bookplate with the child's name and date of birth. If you have any questions, please call Christie Biddle or come by the library.
