Middle School had a Pi Day recitation contest

MS PIE DAY1

Pi Day is celebrated annually on March 14th - Did you know that it was chosen because numerically it represents the first three digits of pi: 3.14?

Pi is a mathematical constant that represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter and today the Middle School had a contest to see who could recite the most of its "infinite decimal" digits.

A valiant effort by all, and the winner was Ethan S in 6th Grade! See his video above.
