5th Grade Sparks a Volcanic Eruption
Our 5th graders wrapped up their earth science unit with an absolute blast. Students spent time meticulously designing, building, and painting their own custom model volcanoes.
Using a classic combination of baking soda, vinegar, and a little dish soap, the students triggered spectacular chemical reactions.
8th Grade Steps into the Biology Lab
Meanwhile, our 8th graders tackled a major academic milestone: the annual end-of-the-year frog dissection lab.
Working in small groups with incredible focus, students located key organ systems like the heart, liver, and lungs. It is an amazing rite of passage that bridges the gap between textbook diagrams and real-world biology, giving them a fantastic head start for high school science next year.
