Class of 2022 Spotlight

KYLE

Kyle

When did you start at Westfield Friends School?
I started in 1st, left after 5th, came back for 7th and 8th.

What is your favorite memory at Westfield Friends School?
My favorite memory has been the memories I’ve created this year, such as the play and the other memories I’ve created with my classmates and friends.

What advice would you give to the younger students at Westfield Friends School?
Time is short, make the most of every day you have at this school and the community. Since the last two years I’ve been separated from the school and I don’t remember much of my elementary years, it’s been somewhat of a race against the clock to make lasting memories before I leave for high school. Enjoy the time you’ve got, have fun, and make the most of every day.

What is your proudest academic or personal achievement over the last 2 years?
Placing in the 93rd percentile nationally in the High School Placement Test and getting two scholarships from high schools.

Where will you be attending high school?
Paul VI High School

Teacher Quote
WFS was lucky to have Kyle back with us these last two years!  Kyle’s character can be most keenly seen in the contributions he made to his class and school community.  He was an integral part of the reworking of the 8th-grade play and worked hard to get a flag football team going at school.  He also created a fantastic, funny, and thoughtful 8th-grade class Kahoot!
