Dear Brian,

“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.” ~ Helen Keller. You have climbed the mountain of middle school and seen all that you have accomplished. May you carry with you all the experiences you have had here. The Brian I first met in 7th grade is now ready as an 8th-grader to do great things. I will never forget your seriousness with your studies, your goofiness with your friends, and your patience with your 1st-grade buddies. I am confident you will succeed at Holy Cross High School.

Dear Kurt,

“We are called to be architects of the future, not its victims.” ~ R. Buckminster Fuller. In a short time, I have watched you become the young man you are. Without question, you have the character and industriousness to succeed in high school and beyond. You take the time to learn, review, and grow from every experience. Our time together in English and Spanish has been short-lived, but you have made the most of it. Your Debate and Diplomacy presentation on the cultural phenomenon of the one-chip challenge was memorable and excellent. Good luck next year at Holy Cross High School.

Sincerely,

Mr. Abramowitz
