Students were enthralled with Mr. Kulka's presentation describing his process in illustrating a book, and sharing many details and even a few secrets!
For the past 20 years, Mr. Kulka has been drawing Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl for the US Forest Service. His illustrations appear on much of the official merchandise for the characters.
