WINTER After School Activity Sign-Ups HERE

       It is that time of the year to sign up your students for after-school activities for the winter trimester, if you are interested. This trimester, we are offering 10 different activities. 

To sign up for an activity, please click on the blue link that says "REGISTER". The deadline for sign-ups is Sunday, January 4th. Clubs for the winter trimester will not be starting until the week we return from winter break, the week of January 5th, 2026.

Bookmark this page or refer to the email and the copy of your registration form, so you have the dates of the clubs handy. Also, subscribe to our school's external calendar to see all the club dates.

  1. Playtime Sports Golf  (Pre-K - 2nd Grade)

  • Playtime Sports is teaching your little one the fundamentals of golf. We will be concentrating on putting, chipping and driving the ball. All the equipment is child-friendly. Along with learning the fundamentals, your child will get plenty of exercise too.

  1. Playtime Sports Volleyball (2nd - 8th Grade)
  • Fridays  3:45 - 4:30 (2nd - 8th Grade)
  • (Minimum of 8 students required, Maximum of 18)

  • Playtime Sports is coming in to teach the basics of volleyball. Bump, Set, Spike! Whether your child is new to the sport or just looking to hone in on their skills, this is the place to do it. Volleyball will be held right in the gym. Students will stay after school in our Extended Day program (no charge) until it is time for Volleyball to begin. They will have time to have a snack, do some homework, or play games with friends.

  1. Yoga and Mindfulness (PreK - 1st Grade)
  • Mondays  3:15 - 3:45 (PreK - 1st Grade)

  • Back by popular demand!!! Guided by an amazing lead from Higher Minds, the curriculum includes weekly character education themes, mindful breathing, yoga poses, songs, activities, games, and art. Mindfulness practices can help children self-regulate their emotions and become calmer and connected. Each lesson is designed to build upon skills week to week. Examples of weekly themes include empathy, kindness, humility, compassion, and gratitude. Teacher Laura Rubino holds a BA in Psychology, a Master's in Education, a NJ Teaching Certificate (K-8), and an RYT 500 Yoga Certification. Families can keep the mindfulness going at home with Ms. Laura’s weekly Mindful Minute videos on YouTube, offering playful breathing exercises, yoga poses, and calming strategies that parents and children can enjoy together.   1. LEGO Club (Kindergarten - 8th grade)

  • Hosted by our very own Ms. Cindy and Ms. Jillian! This club is for LEGO lovers of all ages! Come design and plan a community. We’ll build and save to display our creations for the whole school to see at the end of our sessions. Fine for younger students and beginners, as we will work with multiple ages, supporting one another. All we ask for admission to this wonderful club is for each student to donate one LEGO set to the club.

  1. Ceramics Club (5th - 8th Grade)
  • Tuesdays 3:15 - 5:00 (5th - 8th Grade)
  • (Maximum of 14 students)

  • Hosted by Teacher Deborah. Students will develop and refine hand-building techniques in the ceramic studio. This club is dedicated to the art of working with clay and other ceramic materials. It provides a supportive environment for individuals of all skill levels to learn, practice, and express themselves creatively through pottery and sculpture. Experience on the potter's wheel will be offered to the students. An apron and a sweatshirt are required for wheel throwing. This particular club's beginning date is February 3rd, 2026.

  1. Sensory Club (Preschool 3)

Tuesdays 3:15 - 4:00 (Preschool 3) 

           (Minimum of 4 students required, Maximum of 14)

In the Sensory club, our students will be making and playing with sensory items. Sensory play is any activity that engages their five senses (touch, taste, smell, sight, and sound) to help them learn about the world. It involves activities like playing with Play-Doh, finger painting, or exploring different textures in a sensory bin, which strengthens cognitive development, language, creativity, and fine and gross motor skills. Held at Rushmore House (Preschool 3). If you have a student who does not attend school on Tuesdays, you can still sign your student up for this club. You would just have to be able to drop off your student at the normal drop-off area (next to Preschool Playground) at 3:15 pm and pick them up at 4:00 pm.

  1. Movement & Music Club (Preschool 2, PreK - Kindergarten)

Thursdays 3:15 - 4:00 (Preschool 2, PreK, and Kindergarten)

(Minimum of 8 students required, Maximum of 20)

 

  • Get ready to sing, dance, and play in our Movement and Music Club. Each session is filled with fun, energy, and creativity as children explore rhythm, melody, and movement through engaging songs and games. Together, we will develop coordination, listening, and confidence while expressing ourselves through music and dance. Held at Rushmore House (Preschool 3). If you have a (PS2) student who does not attend school on Thursdays, you can still sign your student up for this club. You would just have to be able to drop off your student at the normal drop-off area (next to Preschool Playground) at 3:15 pm and pick them up at 4:00 pm.

  1.   Bracelet Making Club (4th - 8th Grade)

  • Come join Teacher Grace for Bracelet Making Club! We will be exploring the art of bracelet making through different mediums and techniques. This is a social and creative group where members meet to design, create, and share various types of bracelets. These clubs serve as a casual, stress-reducing environment for our students to connect, learn new crafting techniques, and express themselves creatively.

  1.   Creative Writing Club (3rd - 8th Grade) 
  • Thursdays  3:15 - 4:15 (3rd - 8th Grade)
  • (Minimum of 4 students required, Maximum of 15)

  • Creative Writing Club will explore various genres of creative writing, and students will get to try their hand at them! Students can expect to learn the techniques needed to write fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and drama. After students spend time writing and polishing their pieces, we will host a reading for families at our last meeting on March 5th, 2026, at 3:15 pm.
