Westfield's 4th Grade New Jersey Cake Tradition Lives On! Parents & Guardians along with the whole school enjoyed seeing the intricacies of this creatively designed NJ Cake! Then, as is the tradition, they shared their cake with the 8th graders - yum!
2nd Grade Reaps Their Harvest! Students in 2nd grade harvested the radishes they planted in the school garden box. They ate them on Italian bread with butter. One student said the radishes tasted like “spicy carrots!” Delicious! See more photos here.
6th Grade Demonstration of Learning Middle school and visitors all learned about the cave rescue of the Thai boys soccer team as 6th grade presented using an innovative talk show format and creative and descriptive poems about the event. See the presentations here.
2nd Grade Feasts on an Asian Banquet It's been a delectable tradition for alum parents Kurt and Annie Jung (Nicole '20) to bring their Asian feast of sushi, dumplings, and noodles to Mrs. Yearly's 2nd Grade class as they complete their studies of Asia.
Green Chemistry with 7th Grade With the help of alum Jacob Cope '11, they built their own solar cells!
Mambo Italiano! Mrs. Yearly and Teacher Rachael hosted this Mambo Italiano dinner with signature drinks. It was a Teacher Treasure auction prize from the Taste of Our Towns event in April. The Van Name family won the prize! Everyone enjoyed a wonderful evening!
Baby Yoda Tea Party! Preschool 3 had a fun after-school tea party. This Teacher Treasure was hosted by Teachers Jillian, Kristin, Christina, and Debbie for the Stelling family who won the auction item at A Taste of Our Towns earlier this year.
