Class of 2025
Congratulations, upcoming Westfield Graduates
Class of 2025!

Arda C
In his three years at Westfield, Arda has felt the warmth and support of the community. “I have had a great time at Westfield since my 6th grade year. The Principal, the staff, the teachers, and students all are a big and great family. We went on field trips and camps together.”
One of Arda’s favorite parts at Westfield is Meeting for Worship. “Meeting for worship times is one of my favorite activities in the school. We were sitting in the moment of silence. We held some good intentions or wishes for ourselves or for others in the light.”
Arda has appreciated the friends he has made and the time he has gotten to spend with them. “I can talk with my friends and play my favorite sports and games with my classmates and friends in other classes at lunch and recess times.” He has also enjoyed his specials, including P.E. “We have PE class a couple days of the week with the 7th grade, which makes us so energetic.”
Arda thanks Westfield for a solid education and supportive community. “Other than getting an excellent education, my time at Westfield Friends School felt so special to me which I will always keep in my good memories.”
Charley B
While being at Westfield for only one year, Charley has enjoyed her time greatly: “Over the last year I have spent at Westfield Friends, I have made many positive memories. Whether they are field trips, hanging out with my buddies, or even just spending time with other students. My time at Westfield has truly been a great experience.”
Charley is grateful for the friends she has made during her 8th-grade year. “Throughout the year, I have made many new wonderful friends. These friends all support me, and everyone here at the school. Therefore, I am so thankful that I got to know all of the Middle School students here at Westfield Friends. It is at school where we get to connect the most.”
Charley expresses appreciation for not only what she has learned academically, but also the teachers who have taught her. “All of my teachers have truly helped me in many different ways academically. They all understand the troubles that people my age can go through, and support us in any way they can. They also make learning fun and exciting!” She has also strengthened her academic skills in many areas. “Since I started this year, I have furthered my understanding of Spanish, Art, and Music. I have also learned much vocabulary and grammar in Language Arts, immigration in Social Studies, how to start a business in Math, and also physics in Science.”
Charley expresses that she will miss Westfield greatly. “Although I am excited to start a new chapter of my life, in High School, I will miss this incredible place.”
Ethan S
Ethan’s eight years at Westfield has helped shape into the person he is today. “Westfield has really helped me grow and thrive in a way that no other school could do. Everybody in the community has welcomed me with open arms, and provided a safe space during tough times. During my time here, I have learned about many different subjects and created wonderful memories.”
Ethan has made many fond memories during his time at Westfield, including a spooky reading of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in second grade and a trip to Luray Caverns in sixth grade. “This was my first overnight trip and was out of New Jersey, and therefore, I was very anxious. [...] The entire trip was a wonderful experience, though, and in addition to touring Luray Caverns, we also visited Shenandoah National Park and the Smithsonian Museums in Washington D.C.”
Ethan has appreciated his teachers and enjoyed the projects that they assigned. “I appreciate the projects that many of the teachers assign us because they allow you to go deeper into a subject; you have to understand everything. Teacher Josh’s scaling project was one of my favorites, as well as Teacher Kristin’s Medieval Manor project. These were interactive, hands-on experiences that pushed me to be my very best.”
For Ethan, leaving Westfield is bittersweet. “As the year draws to a close, my heart is heavy with all of the people, memories, and experiences that I have made throughout my Westfield story. But it is the time to move on, and with my high school, Paul VI, looming in the future, many diverse and unique opportunities await me. Even though I am so excited to meet new people and continue my educational journey at PVI, Westfield will always have a place in my heart.”
Gabe S
During his one year at Westfield Friends, Gabe has enjoyed the welcoming community. “I was welcomed very nicely into the school by my peers in my grade [...] The teachers have been so nice to comfort me in the environment and have always made me feel welcome into the environment and made me feel more important than I thought I was.”
Gabe has also appreciated the field trips he got to be a part of. I got to go on a couple field trips where I had opportunities to be with my peers even more and get to know them more as well. We got to do amazing activities and explore nature in different lightings [...] I got to learn new things about the environment and what we can do as people to help protect it from the damage.”
Gabe thanks the Westfield community for its respectful nature. “Westfield Friends is a very accepting environment that respects everyone for who they are and the kindness of the environment was really showcased with my classmates in the eighth grade.” He expresses that he will miss his classmates and school community when he goes to highs school. “My time at Westfield friends has been very soothing and helpful in positive ways and I'm going to miss the presence of the eighth graders when I go to high school.”
Mark S
Mark is appreciative of the three years he has spent at Westfield. “The experience I've gained, between buddies, and hundreds of hours of volunteer work at the summer camp. Westfield has provided me with a unique, interesting, and fun experience. The people are amazing, the teachers are attentive and respectful. The buildings give an air of age and wonder about them as you think who might have passed through the halls.”
He is also grateful for the friends and teachers he has met along the way. “The people here are unlike any other place. They are fantastic, supportive, talkative, and get along well. [...] When you come here, you will not be met with prying eyes but instead with welcoming and assuring words. You’ll meet new friends and have new experiences. Teachers here, the likes of Teacher Maddie, Teacher Leo, Teacher Josh, Teacher Molly, Mrs Parry, Teacher Kristin, have all shaped and added to my education journey and experience at Westfield. Without them, my educational prowess would be much different.”
While Mark is sad to leave Westfield, he feels prepared for high school. “I leave with experiences and knowledge beyond education that only Westfield could have provided. I felt welcomed when I came, and now feel proud to go on into the next step. [...] It will not be the last time I move on from a school I care about, but I will not forget my memories and experiences at Westfield. I came here at 11, now I leave at 14.”
