Why I’m Passionate About Quaker Education

Quite simply, it’s because of the foundation it builds. A Quaker education nurtures each student’s unique gifts and talents, offers challenging academics, and encourages students to believe in themselves. At Westfield Friends School, students grow in both knowledge and character, while learning the responsibility they hold to themselves, to one another, and to their community.

This Year in My Class

In kindergarten, we focus on building community and self-esteem, taking risks, and understanding that mistakes are a valuable part of learning. Together, we explore the world around us and practice problem-solving each day. Students will learn to recognize their strengths and areas for growth, while discovering that with dedication and hard work, they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.
