welcome to this year's annual Winter concert today you will be during both the seasonal song and poem first I will be presenting an original original song how I learned to talk to owls it's late past my bedtime Moonlight blows across the Frozen back on something about the cold makes me hear every Branch leave a needle from the Evergreen in the night when I sit in front of the window right by my bed and wait the moment stick buys for what feels like forever finally she arrived like a secret a quiet Shadow Parts within the bear lives of the people outside my window when she turns I know for sure it's the one I've seen before the great horned owl she has landed again you're my room I wish the window careful not to scare her because tonight I plan to talk I pressed my ear against the metal squares at the screen it's cold against my skin but still I said and wait for her to go first more sounds of leaves a car door closes the dog I'm afraid to Exhale too loudly or even slightly moved my body from my perch at the screen finally take a deep breath cut my hands around my mouth deep in my voice and I moved back it works she who talks back to me as she flies across the lawn her. suspended her body strong I will call you back my goodnight with more Force now watching her disappear over the fence I just wanted to sleep with the window open so I can hear her and she does once more farther out now address to sleep knowing it will go on please welcome the primary chorus to the stage
